Before you go for more than 50 k res in one raid you need to have few things.

1* target with  120 k total res at least ( food, iron and gold ) coz cata will cut      some of the that res when you raid and that amount depends on its lvl which  is unknown for you ;) , and here how to get these targets

2* caravans capacity , and the high capacity always better as it gives you more  res in every single raid 
 you can increase your caravans capacity through 3 main ways
     a- upgrade your market
     b- upgrading you guild thieves 
     c- purchase capacity from the black market by using soul stone

3* Sending troops with capacity of more than 50 k, so if i have caravans  capacity 20 k then i expect 70 k res from the raid, so i need to send troops  with 80 k capacity at least, to cover the cars capacity.

Once you have these things ,then you are ready to go, and here is the trick :D

After sending your raids, and before it hit the target with 20 to 15 seconds,  send this target full load of food, then wait till the raid hits, and once you  receive the report its done cancel the caravans you have sent.

That should give you normal 50 k res + the capacity of the cars you sent.
 if your cars capacity is 20 k then it should be 20 + 50 = 70 k res from that  raid.
